About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Payroll, Absence, and Talent Consultant to support the solution design sessions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying requirements, providing expert guidance on best practices, and draft solution design documents.

As an Oracle Payroll/absence consultant, you will play a pivotal role in transforming business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring the alignment of Oracle HCM/payroll implementation with organizational objectives. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence across HCM processes and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in Configuring and optimize Oracle Fusion Payroll and Absence Management modules to meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Provide expertise in configuring absence plans, accrual calculations, and entitlements configuration.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration between Payroll, Absence, and other HCM modules.
  • Conduct system testing, UAT, and provide support during payroll system upgrades or new implementations.
  • Document payroll and absence processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and training for internal teams.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in Oracle Cloud Payroll and Absence Management configuration and support.
  • Proven experience working on Oracle Fusion HCM implementations and support projects.
  • Deep understanding of UK payroll statutory requirements, including HMRC compliance, RTI, Pensions, and Absence policies.
  • Experience with payroll integrations (e.g., Finance, Benefits, Tax, and third-party providers).
  • Knowledge of Fast Formulas for payroll and absence calculations.
  • Experience in data migration, system testing, and parallel payroll runs.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Cloud Payroll and Absence certifications (desirable).
  • Experience in public sector or local government payroll (desirable).
  • Experience with Oracle Time & Labour (OTL) is a plus.
